4.10.05
Good Morning, I'm just waking up at Colby College after a good weekend of rock and roll. The AIDS benefit on Thursday
seemed like a success, Friday the acoustic set at oxfam was a trip, and the Funk Attack Squad was awesome. Make sure to check
them out around Tufts. They are a jazz-funk band and they had all of Oxfam on their feet. Moksha played well in the battle
of bands saturday morning, they played Alexandra, My Lai, I Will Go, Moving Song, and Jimmy Cliff's "The Harder They
Come'. I'll let you know when we find out the results. The winner opens spring fling. In any case, we were the only freshmen
in the show...a good start. Finally, Colby gave a very warm welcome to Moksha, SD and Haberdasher last night. It was a
night of showing off our new guitarist, Amod Rajbhandari, and he definately stepped up to the challenge. Then night started
with an intimate acoustic set by Haberdasher (Job), then a little bit of Latin flavor with Moksha, and ended with a triumphant
two hour marathon by Selfless Delicacy. SD played the classic SD hits, some new tunes and a bunch of blues and reggae standards.
All together this weekend's tour was a success. We will look forward to seeing you Friday the 22nd at Oxfam Cafe. Bring
your dancing shoes. By the way, my hair left the band...for musical differences, of course. I guess locks of love will have
to be the rock star now. So, if you don't recognize the guy out front it is still me. Peace out everyone, thanks to everyone
who came to one of our shows this week.

Thanks to all who came out for the shows at Tufts and Colby there was a great turn out and it was a lot of fun. Special
thanks to Ezra Furman and Amod Rajbhandari, featured in those shows. Coming up, I'll be doing some acoustic shows in Portland,
ME, dates TBA and we'll be doing some serious recording in the next two months. Keep checking for announcements. What a
long strange trip its been
11.27.04
Hey all, Dave here. I am traveling with SD for two shows in Boston and Maine next week- the first SD shows in about 5
months! Hope to see you all there.
11.8.04
Thanks to all those who came out to Brown and Brew on Friday, it was a good time. Get ready: SD is coming to Tufts on
Dec. 3 (Oxfam Cafe) and Colby College Dec. 4!
(see "Tour Dates" for other upcoming shows)
10.21.04
We have taken a new turn in the history of Selfless Delicacy. We are spreading the word across the country. Jack is
drumming-on in Maine at Colby, Jan is jammin' out on the California beaches at Stanford. Dave is keepin the name alive in
CT, and I am feelin the Boston scene from Tufts. This phase in the epic tale is a time of contemplating life, finding our
inner selves and writing incredible new songs. You can still see Jack in every drum circle in the state of Maine and me in
every open mic night in Boston and Portland, ME, my new home turf, travelling with Chicago's greatest new singer-songwriter,
Ezra Furman. The next SD gig is not until Dec. 3, check out "tour dates". You might see some Serenity Lane Part
2 recording begin to happen in the winter, but Part 1 is still very much alive. We still have CD's and tshirts from the Benefit
concert left so let me know if you want one. I'll see you at Oxfam.
7.30.04
Hey SD people, the Benefit Concert was a success, thanks to all who came. We matched last year for the cause and had
a lot of fun.
T-shirts and CD's are still available. To get a DVD of the show, email us at selflessdelicacy@hotmail.com
Upcoming shows as Selfless Delicacy won't be frequent, some members are out and about during the summer, but you might
be able to catch Jahn and Jan on a short "acoustic tour" in CT and in Europe in June and July.
Make sure to check out Jimmy McDonald at the Sunbake after party at 8pm on Sunday, June 13.
Don't forget that "Serenity Lane Part 1" is still available, just talk to Jahn, Jack, or Dave or pop us an email,
see "contacts".
Keep your ears open for new material for new solo material from Jahn and possibly a live acoustic disc from Jahn and Jan.
Expect to see another SD studio album in the fall after Shank's Hope Farm Studios are finnished.
Until then... Peace.
